My aunt Harriet was a photographer in the 1930’s and 1940’s.
Her work was used as a study for this drawing of trees. It has
simple lines where the trees in the foreground are in the light
and the ones in the background are in shadow. It’s a classic
design and I think people can feel that it has a history that goes
back another generation.
